Shipping Load Detail Description

This article contains a detailed description of each tab of information about a shipping load.

The truck graphic shows you the footage amount and load order for the orders that are included on the load.

General Information

  • Load #: A system generated identifier for the load
  • Load Name: Enter a load name to identify the load
  • Ship Date: Schedule a shipping date
  • Sales Rep: Auto populates with the sales rep from the order, but can be manually changed by selecting from the drop down.
  • Pieces: number of individual items on the load, auto-populated.
  • Shipping Units: number of shipping units contained in the load, auto-populated, based on item information in the Item Sizes Library.
  • Net: Combined order totals from the items on the load
  • Footage: estimated total linear feet the load will take up on the truck
  • Freight: total dollar amount for freight charges from the orders
  • Weight: estimated weight for the load, calculated using your own weight measurements from the Item Sizes Library.
  • Freight Paid By: Select who will pay the freight cost

Load Status

Toggle to update the status of the load.

  • Open: Load that is built, scheduled, and waiting to be picked up.
  • Loading: Load that is being actively loaded.
  • Departed: Load that has left the property
  • Completed: Loads that have left and received all necessary paperwork.

Pulling & Loading Information

  • Loading Dock: Select a loading dock from the menu. All locations with location type set to Shipping will be included here. The little red truck icon can be used to auto-assign a location based on where the items will be pulled from.
  • Picked by: Enter or select the employee who picked these items.
  • Picked by note: You may enter a note here
  • Picking Time: Time spent picking the items on this load
  • Load date/time: Time and date of loading
  • Load Time (hours): Number of hours spent loading
  • Loaded by note: You may enter a note here about the load
  • Loaded by: Select employees who loaded the truck.

Load Notes

You may enter any internal notes about the load here.
