Create an order for items that didn't make it on the truck

If, while processing an order, there are leftover items that didn’t make it on the truck and you want to remove them from the current sales order and create a new order, you can follow the steps below.

  1. Navigate to the sales order. Be sure that the order is still open, or unpost it if needed.
  2. Click on backorder icon Backorder.
  3. Check the box and enter the quantity for each item that will be moved to the new order.
  4. Change the ship date below.
  5. Click Create New Order.
