Block items from being discounted

You can change settings on an individual item so that sales order discounts or promotions will not affect the price of that item. This may apply to items that require a load lock or have other unchanging costs.

Note: Any changes made to item size will not automatically update information on existing orders.

1. Navigate to Inventory, the Master Items & Sizes.
2. Click on the Item Sizes tab in the left pane.
3. Search for the item using the search bars provided and double-click on the item.
4. Click into the Extra Info tab in the right pane.
5. Click to toggle the "Allow Discount" option to No.

Tip: This discount block can be overridden on an individual sales order in order to allow a one-time discount by changing the "Disc. y/n" column to Yes in the Show Other tab on the sales order.
